The pause screen is supposed to function as a transition between Keh's MIND (gameplay) and reality (main menu), hence it has to transition from ORGANIZATION to CHAOS, leading to the polaroids scattering from an album.

I had always wanted to design my own handwriting font since I was young. With Aftertaste needing a light-hearted font that represents a childlike naiveness, I used the opportunity to create this 75-character typeface, OtterHandwriting. It currently does not have variations in weight or orientations, but it is in the making.

In the Teahouse chapter, Tami explores the Lung. Living beings use their lungs to breathe, so oxygen became a primary inspiration for me when designing the health icon.
The animation is yet to be implemented - video above is a mockup.
In Aftertaste exists Tami as well as several other NPCs that will engage in conversation. Dialogue bubbles need to serve the purpose of differentiating the talking persons apart. Therefore, I experimented with several distinct designs to reach that goal.
The final version will have the buttons be tween-ed, creating a smoother animation.

Much like Labubu, Tami has a design that has the potential to appeal to a wide audience due to its cuteness and distinct style.
In preparation for the upcoming USC Games Expo, we decided to design some Tami-themed freebies/merchandises during our tabling time at the expo.
The sticker sheet on the right is a sample design printed for the internal crew members.
At Fall Recruitment, I aided our director, Baozee, in presenting our game pitch. I dressed up as the chef to bring to the audience an immersive experience. I illustrated, printed, and laminated a Tami and brought it as well.
